June Recipe: Bulgarian Cold Summer Soup

Bulgarian Cold Summer Soup (aka Tarator)

Try a delicious and refreshing Cold Summer Soup this summer with this simple recipe:

 

Ingredients:
  • 2 lbs of plain yogurt
  • 2 cups of water
  • 1-2 finely chopped fresh cucumbers
  • 2-3 garlic cloves, minced
  • fennel or dill, minced to taste
  • handful of raw walnuts
  • spoonful of olive oil
  • salt to taste

 

Directions:
Mix together ingredients, stir well & serve cold. Refrigerate if anything is left once you have tasted it!
